The 105th TNI Integrated Village Development (TMMD) Program will roll on July 10, 2019 in 50 locations spread across districts and cities in Indonesia.
Paban V/Bhakti TNI Army Territorial Staff (Sterad) Colonel Yudianto Putrajaya said TMMD this time had an important meaning in an effort to generate mutual cooperation and to strengthen unity and unitary among the nation after the 2019 election which had been fragmented.
"We hope the implementation of TMMD will be able to create a sense of brotherhood in the midst of very rapid development with a variety of increasingly complex problems," he remarked during the coordination meeting of the 105th TMMD preparation at the Ministry of Social Affairs office in Jakarta, Thursday (6/13).
Putra revealed, TMMD which was held three times a year was a very strategic program because it is able to build 150 villages every year.
The target location is in the enclaves of poor, disadvantaged, isolated, remote and slum areas. It also touches urban slums, border areas and outermost islands, as well as areas affected by natural disasters, resulting in significant changes in the region after the TMMD program.
