Especially in outdoor activities, and in order to reach evenly and continuously services, support for operational costs and other financial support is needed,Kotabaru, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Kotabaru District Government allocated Rp20.32 billion as Health Operational Assistance (BOK) funds to support service operations in 28 community health centers (puskesmas) spread across the district.
Head of the Health Office H. Akhmad Rivai said here on Tuesday the funds was intended to encourage and reactivate the functioning of the puskesmas in 21 sub-districts.
"Especially in outdoor activities, and in order to reach evenly and continuously services, support for operational costs and other financial support is needed," he said.
of the 28 health centers, which consisted of 16 inpatient care puskesmas and 12 with no inpatient care, the lowest allocation of funds was Rp.581,729,000 for Pamukan II Puskesmas in North Pamukan Subdistrict, and the highest Rp921,300,000 for Puskesmas Dirgahayu in North Pulau Laut Sub-district.
BOK aims to provide promotive and preventive services, especially outside the puskesmas building; organize management functions of the puskesmas; and community empowerment in the puskesmas working area.
Rivai said, the allocation of the 2019 BOK is used to hold a Healthy Indonesia Program with a Family Approach (PIS-PK) activity; provision of operational public health efforts.
Triggering activities to realize the Community-based Total Sanitation (STBM) Village; decrease in stunting; provision of health promotion personnel, sanitarians, nutritionists, other community health workers and financial management auxiliaries at the puskesmas.
BOK funds may not be used to finance capital expenditure, curative and rehabilitative activities, procurement of drugs, vaccines, medical devices, retribution, maintenance of buildings, vehicles, facilities and infrastructure.
