With the achievements obtained by Suriansyah, it proves that there is nothing impossible while continuing to try and pray,Marabahan, S Kalimantan (Antaranews) - Barito Kuala District Government, South Kalimantan, Monday (29/10) awarded one of its best citizen, Suriansyah, winner of the bronze medal for 400-meter relay style change class swimming at Asian Paragames in Jakarta-Palembang.
Regent Hj Noormiliyani AS said the success of Batola's athlete achievements at the Asian level was a new history especially for Bumi Ijejela (nickname of the district). On behalf of the Batola community and government, she expressed her congratulations and success for the achievements.
The regent also expressed her gratitude to Batola branch of National Sports Committee (KONI) and the sports administrators along with their ranks, including the trainers who had worked hard and fought together for the good name of the district and the nation.
"With the achievements obtained by Suriansyah, it proves that there is nothing impossible while continuing to try and pray," she said while stating that Suriansyah had been able to show the results of his hard work so far in order to raise the red and white flag at the Asian level.
The 90th Youth Oath Day commemoration was also attended by students, TNI, Polri, Korpri, leaders, and administrators of women's organizations led by Batola Regent Hj Noormiliyani AS.
Also present were Deputy Regent H Rahmadian Noor and Chairwoman of the TP-PKK Hj Saraswati Dwi Putranti, Secretary of District H Supriyono and wife Hj Sri Wahyuningsih Supriyono, as well as members of the regional leader communication forums (Forkopimda) and their wives.
