The discussion in the hall of the Tanah Laut Development Planning Board (Bappeda) was led by Acting Regent Achmad Sofiani and attended by Assistant II Nurtumai Irian Bari, Director of PT Amanah Supardi, and related agencies (SKPD).
"The meeting has resulted agreement that some obligations must be met by PT Amanah, such as reclamation, spatial planning, and land use in accordance with initial needs," said Acting Regent Sofiani in Pelaihari.
According to him, if the allocation of land is for the plantation then it is returned to the plantation, as well as allotment as forestry must back to forestry.
"This is what must be done by PT Amanah when mining activities are no longer operational," he explained.
Post-closure of mining activities of PT Amanah, he said, Tanah Laut District Government will conduct monitoring and evaluation according to existing rules.
"Likewise with its CSR activities we also monitor and follow-up according to the agreement," he said.
Separately, Director of PT Amanah Supardi revealed, as a miner is obliged to plan after the mining activities are completed then the surface and the surrounding environment be made what it has been presented to the Tanah Laut Government.
