The village head hopes that the desire will be supported by all parties, especially the government, environmental community, and big companies operating in Banjarmasin through their CSR funds.

Banjarmasin (Antaranews South Kalimantan) - The Sungai Andai Urban Village Government with its citizens in North Banjarmasin Sub-district are busy shaping their environment into many faces.

"The urban village government expects the support of municipal government, as well as Green Community Forum (FKH) Banjarmasin to realize it," said Acting Head of Sungai Andai Urban Village Norahmawati, Wednesday.

When with the Village Council, sanitation task force, and FKH reviewed the Green Open Space Plan (RTH) in the area on Wednesday, Norahmawati said she is now actively mobilizing citizen participation to shape faces in various neighborhood units (RT).

Now there are already emerging exotic faces that are hard to find in other villages.

For example, there is a Kampung Bunga. Here almost every citizen planted flowering green trees. They also planted ornamental plants.

They also set up artificial flowers and other decorative knickknacks, like dozens of umbrellas, hung upside down in different colors. Residents utilize a large bottle of mineral water that is painted then used as flowerpots. Local RT head Abdul Hakim continues to motivate people to beautify their village.

Not far from the Kampung Bunga there is a Kampung Tentara or village of soldiers, where the ornaments and walls of houses, fences, painted like soldier uniform and decorated with the attributes of the army.

This village is also decorated with various reforestation and shading and decorative plants. Garbage handling was fixed with decorated by various garbage bins, as well as other means of hygiene.

There is also a Kampung Polisi or police village with knick-knacks and house paint and fences utilizing the color of police clothes said the village chief who was accompanied by the head of the Urban Village Council Suriansyah.

Other villages that continue to be made are Kampung Air (water village), Kampung KB (Family Planning village), and various other faces.

The village head hopes that the desire will be supported by all parties, especially the government, environmental community, and big companies operating in Banjarmasin through their CSR funds.

Sungai Andai is a new urban village in North Banjarmasin after the area that was once a peatland forest developed into the residential area. There are 68 neighborhood units here with a population of tens of thousands.
