Kotabaru, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - A member of Kotabaru DPRD from Golkar faction, Sahrani, conducted his second 2026 recess in Tarjun Village, Kelumpang Hilir Sub-district.
"This is an obligation for every DPRD member," he said about the recess on Wednesday (July 29, 2026).
The recess became a platform for him to absorb directly aspirations, complaints, and input of the villagers.

The activity, which took place from July 24 to 26, 2026, was attended by community leaders, village officials, Babinsa (village military officer), and local residents.
The meeting took place relaxed and full of kinship, Sahrani dialogue with residents to hear various problems that exist in the neighborhood unit (RT) 15.
Infrastructure, economic empowerment, and public services were the main topics submitted by residents.

"The recess in not just ceremonial. I am here to hear what the community needs. We will record all incoming aspiration and to strive for them in the DPRD, so that the local government can follow them up," said Sahrani.
Rosita, a resident of Tarjun, welcomed this recess. She hopes that every aspiration conveyed will be noticed and promptly realized for the progress of Tarjun Village.
This recess is expected to strengthen communication between people representative and the community, ensuring that the development in Kelumpang Hilir will align with the the community's needs.
