Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Regent of Kotabaru, South Kalimantan, Sayed Jafar has distributed various assistance in his Ramadan Safari in three sub-districts, Hampang, Kelumpang Hulu, and Kelumpang Hilir.
"This is the regional government's commitment to distribute aid as well as filter and listen to community aspirations," said Head of Environment Office Maulidiansyah representing the Regent in Kotabaru, Saturday.
The Regent, he quoted, said the activity was an effort to build good relation between people, especially between the regent as leader and the community,
"Of course this is a motivation for us all, especially the regional government, to see Kotabaru becomes even more advanced," he said.

To build success, he admitted, the goverment must priotize togetherness, mutual respect, mutual appreciation and mutual commitment to jointly advance the region.
On that occasion, the Regent distributed elderly aid packages for 3 people, rice for 566 families (KK) totalling 5,660 kg, and 10 packages for pregnant women, toddler packages, and teenage girl packages.
In Kelumpang Hulu, this included assistance from PPPAPPKB Office for three children at risk of stunting, from Education Office was a physical assistance of Pembina Kelumpang Hulu State Kindergarten and from Housing and Residential Areas (Perkim) Office assistance for 10 unhabitable housing units in Sidomulyo Village.
Kelumpang Hilir received basic food aid for 10 pre-prosperous families from PDAM, Education Office with physical assistance for state elementary school SDN 1 Serongga, and from Perkim assistance for 10 unhabitable houses in Langadai Village.
