He said the perpetrator who brutally slew the victim was arrested in Kahayan Market, Jalan Tjilik Riwut Km 1.5 Palangkaraya, Central Kalimantan. At that time, on Thursday (19/5) at around 14:30, the perpetrator was in a travel carPalangkaraya-Banjarmasin .
The killer, HT alias Iin alias Kombet (22), resident of Jalan Prona I, Pemurus Baru Village, South Banjarmasin, confessed to slay the victim, Noor Rahman (18), a resident of Simpang Limau, because of jealousy.
"Kombet jealous, because his girlfriend was taken for a walk by the victim. So he desperately killed the victim using a kitchen knife," said Arief.
He said, at this time Kombet is secured in East Banjarmasin Sector Police for further legal proceedings for his actions.
The results of the investigation, he is charged under article 338 of the Criminal Code On Murder with a penalty of 15 years in prison.
