Head of SMKN 4 Banjarmasin Safruddin Noor said this when bringing Thai students to met Mayor Ibnu Sina and Deputy Mayor Hermansyah at City Hall, Tuesday.
"They really like the soto Banjar and gado-gado, so eager to learn," said Safruddin.
According to him, the students from Elephants Country who were accompanied by three teachers will undergo training at the school in the majors of culinary, hospitality, fashion, and business trips.
"They will be with us for about a month. This is in students exchange program," he explained.
These students came from Uttaradit vocational college in northern Thailand, where SMKN 4 Banjarmasin students also attend classes there.
"Our students today are in Thailand school. There are ten students attend the same education to Thai students who come here," he explained.
He explained a student exchange program between Indonesia and Thailand aims to increase the knowledge of students, and improve the quality of their human resources with education in the neighboring country.
