Kandangan, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - SD-SMP (elementary and secondary school) of Bajayau Lestari, which is a school for Astra Agro Lestari Foundation in the area of PT Subur Agro Makmur (SAM) South Kalimantan, filled Ramadan activities with a short learning of Islamic knowledge or popularyly known as pesantren Ramadhan.
The Principal of SD-SMP Bajayau Lestari Zaki Kurniatullah in Bajayau said the activities took place online from 6 to 8 of April 2022, attended by all students.
"This year's online Pesantren Ramadhan carried the theme “Ramadhan is a noble and blessed month," she said.
The online Pesantren Ramadhan aims to add students' insight into religous knowledge, so it can be applied in everyday life.
"I also urge that this activity to be followed until the end of the event. I would like to thank all committees and participants who participated in the activity," she said.
The activity which took place at 08.30 to 10.00 Wita, opened with a joint tadarus (reciting Quran) then continued with the main event, namely tausiyah.
The tadarus activity was guided by elementary school Islamic religious (PAI) teacher Suryadi, followed by question and answer as well as quiz which added the excitement of the online learning.
On the first day, tausiyah was about the virtues of Ramadan and blessing of fasting delivered by Ustadz Izhar. The second day about practices during the month of Ramadan delivered by Ustadz Isy Hanifan.
The third meeting with tausiyah about the beauty of sharing was delivered by Ustadz Muhammad Sufyan.
The coordinator of the activity Devi Feriyanjani said that even in the midst of COVID-19 pandemic, SD-SMP Bajayau Lestari continued to strive to hold pesantren Ramadhan.
"Only the concept has been changed, usually offline now becomes online," she said.
