Mayor H M Aditya Mufti Ariffin on Tuesday said that the encorcement of PPKM was in line with the stipulation of the Banjarbaru's status together with other areas in South Kalimantan due to the surge of COVID-19 cases.
"The implementation of level III PPKM for the next 13 days we decided together with Forkopimda according to the Instruction of Minister of Home Affairs (Inmendagri) No. 11 of 2022 which stipulates the status of Banjarbaru is at level III (in the handling of) the spread of COVID-19," he said.
The Banjarbaru Forkopimda instruction was agreed upon and signed by all elements, namely Mayor H M Aditya Mufti Ariffin, DPRD Chairman Fadliansyah, Police Chief AKBP Nur Khamid, Commander of 1006/Banjar Military Lt. Col. Inf. Imam Muchtarom, Head of District Attorney Andri Irawan, and Head of the District Court Benny Sudarsono.
Among the provisions stipulated in the instructions, included the non-essential sector apply 75 percent Work From Office (WFO) with strick health protocols, but if a claster of COVID-19 spread is found, the sector will be closed for 5 days.
Schooling is carried out with limited offline or online, shopping centers/malls are allowed to open from 10.00 to 21.00 but visitors are limited to a maximum of 50 percent, must wear mask, show vaccine certificate with PeduliLindungi apps, wash hands, and check body temperature before entering.
