Rantau, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The government of Tapin District is planning to develop information technology-based smart city and a study has been implemented for the plan.
Tapin Regent HM Arifin Arpan here said that one of the programs of smart city is the use of information technology.
"In this era of digital we will develop information technology. The aim is to expose the potentials of our region," he said on Monday.
He emphasized that the development of smart city must be followed up seriously, because it is the government program that has the highest assessment.
"Of cource we have to prioritize it, so it run in 2022," he said.
Tapin Regional Secretary H Masyraniansyah added that the building of smart city would start in July 2022.
"We prepare the budget and readiness," he said.
