Kotabaru, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Kotabaru Legislative Council (DPRD) has mediated the residents of Semayap Village, Pulau Laut Utara Sub-district, and PT Pertamina branch of Kotabaru in their dis[ute related to damaged and muddy roads in the area leading to Pertamina.

The meeting, which was chaired by Awaludin from Commission II of the DPRD, and Putra, was to find solution for the badly damaged road allegedly caused by trucks transporting fuel.

Representative of Semayap RT (neighborhood unit) 21 I Ketut Bude Rana said that a letter of request to the Pertamina Kotabaru and center to repair the damaged roads was immediately responded and the road will be repaired.

Pertamina representative Handy Tri said that the repairment will be carried out in the first quarter with the allocation of IDR200 million.

The hearing in the Kotabaru DPRD meeting room was also attended by a number of DPRD members, including M Lutfi Ali, Hamka Mamang, and Ruspiandi, as well as the Environment Office official.
