Pelaihari, South Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - Letter of coercion reprimand against two companies in the field of specialized coal port that do not have environmental permits have been submitted to the Tanah Laut Regent.
"Coercion warning letters have been conveyed to the regents to be signed, after which we pass them to companies PT Conko and PT SKJM, because of do not have environmental permit," said the head of Tanah Laut Environment Agency (BLH) Riyadi in Pelaihari, Wednesday (13/5).
According to him, the two companies have been twice reprimanded to immediately complete the document, but it remains ignored.
"If they do not adhere to this warning compulsion, then the next sanction is revocation of their operating license," he said.
Nevertheless, there is still time tolerance for the two companies to make environmental documents for 45 days.
He said the environmental licensing issues in Tanah Laut would be tightened. This is one of BLH program.
"To protect the environment and prevent is more severe environmental damage, then BLH program in 2015 is tightened environmental licensing," he explained.
