Pelaihari, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - Tanah Laut District government handed over 1,000 mahogany seedlings and used clothes to the village of Pulau Sari, Subdistrict Tambang Ulang, at the Manunggal Tuntung Pandang events on Friday (29/8).
"Mahogany seedlings provided to the villagers of Pulau Sari is for greening," said Vice Regent of Tanah Laut, Drs H Sukamta, in Pelaihari, Sunday (31/8).
So did used clothing, according to him, is a concern to people who are less able, very in need of clothes.
In addition to providing assistance to residents, the presence of official at Pulau Sari Village, was to establish ties and to obtain input related to development.
"From that meeting certainly there are direct input from the community, and we will consider the issues in determining future policy development," he said.
He said, a credible form like this will continue to be made throughout the villages in the subdistricts in Tanah Laut.
