Pelaihari, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - Director of H Boejasin Pelaihari Hospital, Dr Edy Wahyudi, stated in the near future the hospital will have 30 medical specialists to support the local government's plan to raise it type from C to B.
"In the human resources we are ready to escort the Hospital H Boejasin into type B, but the facility is still not. Hence the relocation of the building needs to be done in the near future," he said in Pelaihari, Thursday (14/8).
According to him, this time alone there are four specialist doctors who returned to H Boejasin from specialists education. However, it lack of standard rooms to serve.
For the service of eye diseases there are six rooms: two for non-infectious eye disease and four rooms for infectious eye diseases. As for neurological disease four rooms available.
"But we have no room for the psychiatrist, internist, pediatric services and others. Here's to the future need to be considered to provide services to the community," he said.
With the 30 specialists, then the hospital with type B will provide 16 specialists services to the community and the planned construction of a type B hospital could be realized by 2017.
Meanwhile, Regent H Bambang Alamsyah asserts, hospital construction type B remains the district government's commitment to make it happen, because the condition of the existing hospital facilities are lacking.
