Rantau, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Tapin Civil Registry and Population Agency (Disdukcapil) will buy Anjungan Dukcapil Mandiri (ADM) or an automated machine for population service.
The machine, which is very similar to the Automated Teller Machine (ATM) is a breakthrough by the Ministry of Home Affairs to digitize population service.
The machine is capable of printing 24 types of population documents. Within minutes, ADM prints e-KTP, birth certificates, and family cards.
Head of Tapin Population and Civil Registry Office (Disdukcapil) Hj Rusnaidah said that the district government plans to buy two innovative machines.
"We have budgeted the purchase of two ADM machine in the revised budget (APBD perubahan)," she said in her office in Rantau.
"We are still discussing the placement of the two ADM because this is a new machine, we need to test it, it will be in Rantau, maybe at the Regent office or other place," she said.
"Hopefully, according to our target, this ADM machine we ordered to come and to use it soon," said Rusnaidah.
