Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - South Kalimantan Governor Rudy Ariffin admitted Banjarmasin, the provincial capital, is the most developed city compared to other cities in Kalimantan.
As an evidence as the most advanced there is no other city in Kalimantan that has an overpass (flyover), he said while giving a speech at the commemoration of the 487th anniversary of the city of Banjarmasin on Tuesday.
Therefore, all citizens of Banjarmasin must be patient waiting for the completion of the overpass, which if completed not only facilitate local city traffic, it will also beautify the city.
"I hope all citizens to support the work of the project, and understand the impact of the project during the run, such as traffic jams everywhere after the region's major roads are often closed," he said.
He acknowledged the progress of the city is so visible, such as the arrangement of the city, namely its rivers, parking arrangements, settlements and other arrangements that are currently leading it to the modern city.
It's just that he reminds there should be synergy between ​​arrangements by Banjarmasin City Government with the arrangement made ​​by the provincial government as well as other neighboring districts.
When there is synergy between all of them the progress will be increasingly felt and it will have an impact on the welfare of the people in the city area.
