Martapura, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - Banjar Regent Khairul Saleh expects Banjar Expo 2013 encourages populist economy.
"Our hope Banjar Expo to encourage community economy through a variety of excellent products displayed at the stands exhibition," he said in Martapura on Wednesday.
He said this at the opening of the expo that contains development exhibition, people's bazaar and ornamental plants centered in the green open space (RTH) Ratu Zalecha, Martapura.
Banjar Expo 2013 in its fifth year and this year held for 14 to August 19, featuring superior product of private as well as what call as 'binaan' agencies (SKPD), state/regional owned enterprises (BUMN/BUMD), banking and other private parties.
Lampit (rattan mats), sasirangan (Banjar typical cloth), beads, aji stones, and gemstones that are characteristic of the rich resources districts, shown here. Chairman of the executive committee Harry Supriyadi said, 86 participants take part in the exhibition.
