PT Adaro Energy Tbk through the Adaro Foundation is determined to realize the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by carrying out the main principles "Leaving No One Behind" or "Do Not Leave Anyone Behind."

One of them is to run the Adaro program, Turn on Science, which focuses on developing and improving the quality of people's human resources by combining knowledge, skills and character development.

PT Adaro Energy Tbk's CSR Program Manager Ghufron Sholihin explained Turning on Science program includes five main components, namely education for early childhood, vocational education programs, vocational training, scholarships for students, and the technology-based education program.

He explained that early childhood education programs (PAUD) are intended to shape the character of children, especially in the golden age, so they can develop themselves into leaders with character in the future.

"At present, we are doing vocational education in vocational high schools as an effort to develop the teaching factory," explained Ghufron.

Learning through factory teaching aims to foster the character and work ethic and improve the quality of learning outcomes from simply equipping competencies to learning that provides the ability to produce goods and services.

Not only in secondary schools, the Adaro Bangun Negeri Foundation as part of the Adaro Foundation also provides vocational training and mentoring in a number of Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) to develop business units so that the santri can be independent after graduating.

In addition to vocational education, YABN also provides scholarships for outstanding students and technology-based education programs to improve teacher competencies in applying technology in the teaching and learning process.
