A total of 44 elementary school students from Tapin District took part in the 2019 National Elementary School Science Olympiad (OSN-SD), Thursday (14/03), at the local Education Office hall.
Head of Tapin Education Office H Juwaini said the 2019 OSN-SD was conducted as a vehicle for healthy competition in the fields of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (IPA) for elementary students.
"This is part of an effort to improve the development of learning culture, creativity and achievement motivation," he said
He appealed to the contest participants to continue to learn and compete in achieving achievements. "Take advantage of your time to continue learning, not just playing with online games that can eliminate the balance of learning," he said.
The Head of the Student and Character Building Section of the Education Agency M Zain MM said the 2019 OSN-SD participants were elementary school students from 12 sub-districts in Tapin. Each subdistrict was represented by 4 students (2 in Mathematics and 2 in Science). M Husien Asyari
