Born in East Kotawaringin (Central Kalimantan) on August 18, 1977, she admitted what she most liked is to interact with many people and that made her know about many problems, and encouraged her to enter politics.
"Socializing with the community will be more beneficial if you can make changes. For that reason, you have to go into politics, even if you need to be a leader. So I obsessed with being the first female mayor for Banjarmasin," said the woman whose Facebook account is Rie Darmah.
In the political world there is a strong "fighting force" and a systematic influence on all fronts of people's lives, she said excitedly. While her choice to the Democratic Party, she acknowledged, because in the party there is a firm, authoritative figures and strong thoughts to fight for the people's fate, namely (the former President) Pak SBY.

The woman who likes movies, traveling, yoga, singing and gathering together now sit in the Commission IV overseeing health, education, social, public welfare, empowerment of women and children, youth and sports.
