Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - Banjarmasin City Government will tighten the rules of metrology. The rule is being discussed intensively with the local Legislative Council (DPRD).
         

H Asmat, a DPRD member, in the city council building, said on Monday, the draft regulation on metrology is continued to be improved because it is important to ensure there will be no fraud in size, both scales, and doses.
       
"In order to make it clear and what sanctions to a violation and officers have the responsibility to recalibrate to markets and other places on a scheduled basis," said the PKB politician.
         
Asmat, who is the chairman of the inquiry committee, said in order to enrich the contents of the draft regulation, a number of articles in each chapter are discussed. Some things related to the contents of the regulations are still supplemented by hearing input from the agency.
     
The draft regulation, which was proposed in January 2019, is expected to be beneficial for everyone. And after being legalized later, not only the City Government will carry out monitoring, but also the wider community so that no one cheats.
       
According to Asmat, based on Law No. 23/2014, the management of scales and equipment (UTTP) which were previously the authority of the province has been submitted to the district and city.
