Banjarmasin, (Antaranews Kalsel) - The South Kalimantan Regional Police's Directorate of Traffic (Ditlantas) keeps campaigning the national program of 2019 Millennial Road Safety Festival.


"Everyday traffic police of all rank meet millennial group to let them aware of the safety on the road," said the head of Education and Conjecture (Dikyasa) of the directorate Adj Sr Comr (AKBP) Nina Rahmi.

She said, this campaign which will last from February 2 to March 31, 2019, is targetting millennials whose age between 17 and 35 years. 

So where they go? "Schools and campuses are our main targets because they are the younger generation who are included in the millennial group. In addition to employees and employees younger than 35 years old," Nina told South Kalimantan Antaranews.

Here she and her members talk and discuss with people until they understand how they act on the road according to law and regulation.

For the peak activity of the campaign, the Traffic Directorate which is headed by Sr Comr (Kombes) Muji Ediyanto seems to have prepared a special event on March 17, 2019, at the Car Free Day area of the Provincial Government Office neighborhood on Jalan Trikora, Banjarbaru.

Various activities will fill the event which is estimated to be attended by tens of thousands of people. Among them are Millennial Colossal Gymnastics, Millennial Motorcycle Freestyle, Safety Riding and Millennial Safety Driving, Millennial Entrepreneur Expo, Millennial Healthy Road and the Pioneer Declaration of Traffic Safety.

"Let's save the millennial generation from the threat of accident victims through the momentum of the Millennial Road Safety Festival launched by the Indonesian National Police Corps," concluded Nina.
