Batulicin, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - Tanah Bumbu Environment Agency (DLH), South Kalimantan, received an additional garbage transport truck from Governor H. Sahbirin Noor in order to improve cleaning services.
The head of the DLH Rahmad Prapto Udoyo through the Section Head of Waste Management and Handling Wahyuni here said the truck was a tribute to the local government that won Adipura, the award for cleanest city.
"The fleet will be used specifically to collect household waste for the Batulicin route and its surroundings, so that cleanliness handling is really maximum," he said.
He said, the addition of one truck was very beneficial for the government as well as the Tanah Bumbu community to create a clean environment.
In addition, the truck will be used as a garbage patrol vehicle that goes around the city every day. If there is a pile of garbage that has not been transported, then the truck will immediately transport it to the final dump.
