Kandangan, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - South Hulu Sungai (HSS) Regent H. Achmad Fikry said to be a healthy district, it must start from the villages and sub-districts. It's useless for the district to be healthy, but the sub-districts and villages are out of tune.

"The award is not the main thing we pursue, but how to improve the health of the people and the environment. That is the main thing," he said in the health coordination meeting in Kandangan, Friday (21/12).

The coordination meeting discussed three programs, namely Healthy HSS District, Non-Smoking Area (KTR) and Healthy School Competition (LSS).

The regent hopes that the achievement indicators towards healthy districts will be carried out in teams between Regional Organizations (OPD). All OPD indicators should be distributed into each OPD involved according to their aspects.

Regarding the non-smoking area, he stressed that the existing rules must be upheld maximally. The existing regulations will soon be strengthened by the regent's regulations.
