Regent Central Hulu Sungai (HST) H Ahmad Chairansyah stated that his government seek to bring Bumi Murakata which he leads to become a healthy district in Indonesia.
"After succeeding in realizing malaria-free district, we want to make HST as a healthy district in Indonesia," he said on the sidelines of the joint state civil apparatus (ASN) ceremony which was assembled with the commemoration of Biodiversity Day and tree planting action in front of the regent's office on Monday (28/5).
Chairansyah admitted, to be a healthy district is not an easy matter, it requires strong determination, hard work and truly solid synergy among stakeholders by involving the relevant village officials.
"For that, I challenge the Health Office as a leading sector in collaboration with related agencies in realizing a healthy HST," he said.
Head of the Health Office Dr. Kusudiarto stated the preparation to realize a healthy district had been implemented, including by forming a healthy district forum chaired by the Head of District Development Planning, Research and Development Agency (Bappelitbangda).
"Healthy district forums involve cross-regional organizations in an integrated manner to create healthy HST," he said.
Meanwhile, Acting Head of Trade Office Ali Fahmi said that the realization of a healthy market that is part of a healthy HST is not an easy thing. "Obviously it requires the support and assistance of all relevant parties," he said.
