Tanjung, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - Ministry of Law and Human Rights gave an award to Tabalong District for its concern for human rights and succeeded in carrying out respect, protection, fulfillment, enforcement, and promotion of human rights.
Tabalong Regent Anang Syakhfiani received the award from the Minister of Law and Human Rights Yassona Laoly at the ministry office on Tuesday (11/12).
"For the fourth times Tabalong received an award as a Human Rights Care District," explained Anang.
He said that this success could not be separated from the hard work of the Tabalong Government and the support of the DPRD, regional leadership coordination forums, and vertical agency leaders.
He hopes this award will motivate local governments, moreover the results of the indicator assessment achieved by Tabalong are fairly good, which includes attention to issues of rights to health, education, women and children, population, employment, housing and a sustainable environment.
