Barabai, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - A shining achievement was obtained by the Central Hulu Sungai (HST) Government as it again received an award as a district concerned about human rights.


Acting Regent H A Chairansyah represented by Assistant I for Government Ainur Rafiq received the award from the Law and Human Rights Minister Yasonna Hamonangan Laoly at the commemoration of the 70th World Human Rights Day in Jakarta, Tuesday (11/12).

"Representing the HST community, I would like to thank the Ministry of Law and Human Rights for awarding this title, and this award is certainly the result of all our work together," Ainur Rafiq said.

He explained that the Human Rights Care District is a special predicate because it has high criteria. "The criteria for reaching the Human Rights Care District are based on fulfilling the right to health, education, women's and children's, the right to population, employment, decent housing, and a sustainable environment. In addition to the high indicators, the quality of its process is tightly maintained," he explained.

District and city care for human rights awards were received by 271 regents and mayors throughout Indonesia.
