Kandangan, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - South Hulu Sungai (HSS) Regent H Achmad Fikry granted a speedboat to the Daha fire brigade for firefighting operations on river routes.
Top Admin of Buhan Hulu Sungai Selatan Negara (BND-HSS) Rendra Aji Rahim in Negara, Sunday (2/12) expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the concern and attention of the HSS Regent with a speedboat grant for the fire brigade.
"This is one of the 2017 BND-HSS proposals when a visit to the HSS Regent's office. Hopefully, it can minimize fires when they occur on the banks of the river," he said.
He explained, indeed the constraints of firefighting in Daha, where the majority of the area waters, desperately need the river transportation. He hopes that in the future there will be more fleets like this.
Meanwhile, Chairperson of the Daha Communication Forum for Firefighters and Volunteers (FKPR) Makronie said he was grateful for the assistance of the regent and hoped for support from all parties in the implementation of FKPR's duties.
