Marabahan, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - To attract people taste on nutritious and balanced food, the Barito Kuala (Batola), South Kalimantan, Food Resilience and Fisheries Agency together with the Family Welfare Movement (TP-PKK) held a contest at Marabahan, Thursday (11/22) )


The contest is to create a menu of diverse, nutritious, balanced, and safe foods (B2SA) and all-fish cooking competitions. The contest featuring the famous chef Agus Sasirangan as a jury.

"This competition is useful to build and increase the attractiveness of the community to consume diverse, nutritious, balanced and safe food," said Batola Regent Hj Noormiliyani AS through the Assistant for Governance M Anthony.

But, she hopes, the contest to be followed-up with public counseling to make citizens more understandable, so that they are motivated to consume foods that are diverse, balanced and safe.

The Regent suggested that every work unit and community groups related to food security need to carry out socialization and continuous movements to increase knowledge and skills in changing people's consumption patterns towards B2SA.

The competition, which 17 sub-districts took part, said the TP-PKK Batola Chairwoman Hj Saraswati Dwi Putranti Rahmadian Noor, to encourage the realization of an increase in the quality of family food consumption and enrich the variety of dishes in the family while encouraging the creation of various local food menus.
