Barabai, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - The 1002 Barabai District Military Commander (Dandim) Lt. Col. Inf Nur Rohman Zein appealed to TNI soldiers to be alert to the latent danger of communism and radicalism in Central Hulu Sungai District (HST).
"The latent danger of communism and radicalism will only damage, undermine, and threaten the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI)," he said when opening the second-semester activity on anticipation of the communist latent danger and radicalism in Barabai, Monday (19/11).
Chief of Staff of the 1002 Barabai District Military Command (Kodim) Major Inf Pahrijani was present with all members, civil servants, family of Kodim 1002 Barabai and Persit Kartika Chandra Kirana Chairwoman Lala Nur Rohman along with the board of branch management.
The activity themed "Through Fostering Anticipation of Communist and Radicalism, Army Soldiers Always Pro Active in Carrying Out Early Prevention and Early Detection of Latent Communist Dangers and Radicalism that Occur in the NKRI to Realize Sovereign Countries Based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution".
According to the Dandim, the activity is to provide understanding to all members and families of the Kodim 1002 Barabai about the latent danger of communism and radicalism.
"Every member and all family of Kodim 1002 Barabai must be able to detect and report activities that are deviant or out of the ordinary in their respective environments, so that action can be taken so as not to expand," he said.
