Pelaihari, South Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - Pelaihari Sector Police together with Bhayangkara Community Order and Security Officer (Bhabinkamtibmas) and Sumber Mulya Village residents plant trees on Friday (27/7).
"This tree planting action movement is done with Sumber Mulya Village and forest farmer group," said Bhabinkamtibmas Sumber Mulya Village Bri Rahmat.
According to him, the tree planting activity also involves village head, Babinsa (a village supervisory non-commissioned officer) and Pelaihari Sector Police Chief and other sector police members in Tanah Laut.
The tree planting activities involved all RTs (neighborhood unit) in Sumber Mulia Village.
Chief Brigadier (Bripka) Rahmat rated, the planting of tree seedlings in the dam useful to water absorption and greening around the dam.
"After planting trees, the maintenance is handed over to villagers and forest farmers so that trees will grow bigger," he said.
