Banjarbaru, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Banjarbaru Municipal Government launches a characterized Family Learning Center (which called Puspaga)  to support the city to become the child-friendly city in 2018.


Mayor Nadjmi Adhani said this is an innovation by the Family Planning Service, Community Empowerment, Women and Child Protection (KB-PMPPA) Agency.

"The KB-PMPPA agency has been implementing the innovation since Tuesday (17/4). It is a place for family planning, family consultation, and a friendly for children's learning," he said in Banjarbaru on Wednesday.

He gave a high appreciation for the innovation, while the organization of regional devices (OPD) in the scope of Banjarbaru City Government is required to create innovations in public service.

"Public service innovation should be created by every OPD, so that all layers of society more easily and quickly get public services," he said.

In addition to serving as a place to serve the public, he said, Puspaga will become a supporter for Banjarbaru to win a title as the child-friendly city (KLA) in 2018.

Head of KB-PMPPA Puspa Kencana said the agency has prepared a special room for family consultation, education, and learning for children.

In addition to Puspaga program, it also works with the Health Agency to make the smoke-free offices so that people feel
comfortable when visiting.

"Our steps to make the smoke-free office as an effort to complete the requirements for Banjarbaru to achieve the title of healthy Office (KS)," she said.
