Kandangan, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - A young man, Ahmad Maidi (20), a resident of South Hulu Sungai (HSS) District, was found dead in the Dua Desember Swimming Pool in Hamalau Village, Sungai Raya Sub-district.
HSS Police Chief Aj Sr Comr (AKBP) Rahmat Budi Handoko through Head of Crime Detective Unit Adj Comr (AKP) Susilo in Kandangan said the victim was found on Sunday at 04.00 am, and there were victim's belongings found near the swimming pool which became a guide for the discovery of the corpse.
"Suzuki Tornado motorcycles worn by the victim was parked under the sapodilla tree behind the swimming pool, also found clothes, vehicle keys, and victim sandals," he said as he went down at the scene.
After being found the victim was immediately taken to Brigjen H Hassan Basry Hospital Kandangan. There were no signs of violence in the victim's body.
The first allegation was the victim died of drowning. To know the exact cause the autopsy must be done, but the victim's family rejected.
The victim left home from Saturday (10/3) at 4 pm without telling her parents where he was headed. The victim went to use Suzuki Tornado.
Realizing the victim did not go home, the family did a search. Finally, the victim's motorcycle was found parked at the location not far from the swimming pool.
The family and the surrounding community did a search in the pool until they found the victim, but the victim was already dead.
