Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The Provincial Government of South Kalimantan seeks to promote the Kahung Valley as a new tourist destination besides Loksado.
Head of Public Relations Kurnadiansyah in Banjarmasin on Tuesday said, among the efforts to introduce the beauty of Kahung Valley is by documentation in the form of photography, visualization, and data collection of the natural charms in the village of Kahung, Banjar District.
"For three days, we did photo shoots and other visualizations in the area to explore the beauty of the Kahung Valley, which has not been widely known to the public," he said.
The results of these activities, he added, became an important part of the regional documentation, especially assisting the relevant agencies to improve tourism promotion and visualization.
Not only in the Kahung Valley, these activities will also be continued in other areas that also have natural tourist destinations that are not less charming.
Previously, the Public Relations and Protocol of South Kalimantan Government conducted activities along Belangian Kahung Village, Aranio Subdistrict, Banjar.
Belangian Kahung is a tourist destination that has the natural charm of the slopes of Mount Kahung. The village is located in the Riam Kanan reservoir area with an area of 21.25 kilometers.
To get to the location it takes approximately four hours. Two hours by land and continued using a traditional motorized boat kelotok.
