Balangan Police Handles Alleged Rape Case

Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The Crime Detective Unit (Satreskrim) of the Balangan Police is now handling a case of alleged rape which happened in one of the villages in Halong Sub-district.

"We have secured the perpetrator after the victim reported the allegations of forcing her to have sex," said Head of Satreskrim Adj Comr (AKP) Dany Sulistiono SE in Balangan, Tuesday.

"The alleged criminal act of rape occurred on Wednesday (27/12) night at the public restroom which was behind the victim's house," he said.

     

Based on the victim's information, Dany told, A (28) originally contacted SH victim (28) with the intention of inviting to meet.

     

After that A and SH meet in a public restroom which is behind the victim's house. But while chatting the offender began to grope the body of the victim and forced to have intercourse.

    

On the incident, the victim reported to Halong police station for further legal process and the case was handled by Satreskrim.

  

"The suspect charged with Article 285 jo Article 289 of the Criminal Code on Rape and Obscenity with the threat of imprisonment for a maximum of nine years," said Dany.
