Kotabaru, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - A teenager was found floating on the seafront in Rampa Baru Village, North Pulaulaut, Kotabaru, South Kalimantan.


"According to the hospital's information, the victim was allegedly killed by being inhaled with water," said Head of Patrol Kotabaru Water Police Sec. Insp (Iptu) Toto Suharyono, Wednesday.

Not yet known chronological incident of drowning victim. But it was allegedly the boy fell into the river, then drifted into the estuary.

The victim found by the citizen in the position face down. Some people saw his body still moving, like shivering, had time to help. But prevented by some other citizens with the reason to wait for the security officers.

About an hour later, the victim was lifted and rushed to Kotabaru District General Hospital. The victim was taken to the emergency and was given oxygen, and could not be saved.

Meanwhile, the victim, Dimas Saputra (15), the first child of Safrudin and Yana, residents of Jalan Selokayang, Semayap Village.

According to the family, the victim is a person with a disability. Because often disappear and get negative influence from others, the victim is locked up at home.

"He was lost at dawn, he broke the wooden floor in the kitchen because the door was locked. We are looking for him, but did not find, until the news came," said Yana, the victim's mother.

From the visum results found no signs of violence on the victim's body. The body of the victim then immediately taken home for burial.
