Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The Kotabaru Narcotics Agency (BNK) is actively conducting socialization to prevent the circulation of narcotics and illegal drugs by conducting urine tests on high school students.
Head of the district narcotics agency Burhanuddin, through Secretary of BNK Adjunct Commissioner Police Sigit Chahyono here on Saturday, said the urine test on high school students is part of the socialization conducted by BNK in collaboration with Kotabaru Police.
"The circulation of narcotics, especially illegal drugs, in Kotabaru is very worrying, so it needs innovation step to anticipate its circulation," he said.
Sigit explained, there are a number of schools targeted for socialization activities of Prevention and Eradication of Abuse and Trafficking of Illicit Drugs (P4GN).
Not only high school but also the junior high school (SLTP) and college in Kotabaru are also its target.
In fact, BNK also plans to socialize in the environment of social organizations, vertical institutions, state-owned enterprises (BUMN), private and others.
Previously, BNK has also conducted urine tests on members of the Navy, and the Army, Police, and others.
