Barabai, South Kalimantan - The South Kalimantan National Narcotics Agency (BNNP) and the Central Hulu Sungai (HST) Resort Police nabbed a nurse who allegedly distributed tens of thousands of Zenith pills.


Not only that, the joint team also secured 880 boxes or about 88 thousand Zenith or Charnophen pills in a raid in Rasau Village, Pandawan Sub-district at about 04.00, Saturday (22/7).

The HST Police Chief Adj Sr Comr (AKBP) Mugi Sekar Jaya through the Head of Drug Detective Unit Adj Comr (AKP) Purnoto here said the perpetrator is a nurse in one of the community health clinic (puskesmas) in HSU District. Hamsyah (40) was previously also a recidivist with the same case.

"In the raid, which was witnessed also by the local neighborhood chief (RT), the forbidden drug found in the kitchen near the row of stove table," he said.

He told after getting information from the public, who often seeing the transactions of Zenith pill in the mansion and big house owned by the perpetrator, the police immediately investigated and finally conducted a search and found tens of thousands of the G-class drug which license has been revoked.

"Although the perpetrator work as a nurse is not allowed to store let alone sell the forbidden goods because it license has been revoked and the government has closed the company," he said.

A year ago, according to Purnoto, the beautiful girl had been sentenced for four months because she was caught storing as many as five thousand Zenith pills in her home.

"After coming out instead of repentance or deterrent it turns out the civil servant from the health sector is back to continue her business that is clearly damaging to our young generation," he said.

Meanwhile, a resident around the scene, Anang in Barabai, said that the perpetrator is very closed and rarely communicate and mingle with the surrounding community.

"We just found out that she's a dealer, it's just that she's getting really rich and has a big house, apparently from Zenith business," he said.
