Martapura, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The Banjar District Police in South Kalimantan is investigating a robbery case that caused a victim to lose one kilogram of gold bars.


"We are still investigating the case and trying to catch the perpetrators," said Head of Banjar Police Crime Detective Adj Comr (AKP) Sofyan in Martapura on Thursday.

The robbery that occurred at Citra Land Housing Complex, Kertak Hanyar Km 8, Banjar, on Tuesday (19/7) night caused Ricky suffered a loss of his property and valuables.

The perpetrators of allegedly more than two people carried off a safe containing one kilogram of gold bars, dozens of necklaces and bracelets, as well as other valuables.

"The victim reported the loss reached Rp2 billion and the biggest value is gold bullion reaching Rp600 million. We assisted Kertak Hanyar Police who handled the case," said Sofyan.

He said the robbery case that caused the victim suffered billions of rupiah loss was a concern, let alone a second incident in the luxury housing complex.

He described the action allegedly carried by a herd of actors who were determined and the action considered to be done by professionals.

"We believe the herd of actors are professional players, it was done after first studying the habit of potential victims," said Sofyan.

He said, he deployed personnels and joined withMobile Brigade (Resmob) of South Kalimantan Regional Police who participated to reveal case of robbery in the luxury housing.

Meanwhile, Kertak Hanyar Police Chief AKP Gustav said it had received the victim's report and asked a number of witnesses who were in the vicinity of the incident.
