Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The Banjarmasin City Police headquarters was on full alert on Friday over a bomb threat coming from a sound recording.


"We got a tape from someone related to bomb threat against Banjarmasin City Police and Duta Mall, so we immediately do anticipation," said Police Chief Sr Comr (Kombes) Anjar Wicaksana here, Friday.

He said, Crime Detective Unit (Satreskrim) have been investigating to find the recording spreaders. While the Gegana bomb squad from South Kalimantan Police's Mobile Brigade (Brimob) has been asked to do a sweeping to every corners and yard of the city police headquarters.

In Duta Mall, he said, the Directorate of Sabhara (quick response police) has also been alerted to anticipate the issues.

"All of our members were called for extraordinary meeting to carry out preparedness in the police and surrounding areas," said police chief.

Until now city police still on alert and continue to conduct inspections and investigating where the source of the sound recording.

AntaranewsKalsel monitored in Banjarmasin City Police where main entrance was tightly guarded by fully armed personnel.

Not only that, Gegana units did a sweeping in all rooms and parks of the headquarters.
