Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan 20/6 (AntaranewsKalsel) - Head of Banjarmasin Cooperatives, Micro Business and Manpower Priyo Eko said five companies are being complained by their employees for not paying the Eid holiday allowance (THR).


"Since the D-7 deadline that all companies required to pay THR to their employees' , THR's complaint post in our office has received at least five complaints," he said during the iftar at Banjarmasin's Secretary Hamli Kursani house, Tuesday.

According to Priyo, five companies who are complained by their employees have not payed THR have been summed to confirm the truth.

"The company acknowledged they have not disbursed their employees' THR for various reasons, some claim to be too busy resulting in the delay," he explained.

Priyo disclosed, most companies who have not payed THR are financial or savings and loans business.

"We have made a statement for them to immediately carry out their obligations to pay their employees' THR no later than Friday (23/6)," he said.

It will wait for further confirmation of the reporting parties or complainants on the deadline whether it has been disbursed by the reported in this case the company.

"If later there will be no confirmation of the reporting party or the complainant, then we assume that the problem has been settled or THR has been paid," said Priyo.

"If it does not meet its obligations, the company may be subject to sanctions, yes, it could be administrative sanctions with the revoke of its business license or taken to the realm of labor law," he said.

So far, there are 1,725 companies in Banjarmasin. Every year there is never a problem of payment of THR to the court or even a sanction to a company.
