Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Minister Bahlil Lahadalia asked subsidized fuel provider of B40 to increase supply for the needs of fishermen in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan.
“Facing Eid al-Fitr, they need more supply. Approaching the holiday, distribution of fuel must be guaranteed for coastal communities, especially fishermen,” said Minister Bahlil when visiting fishermen village and Fishermen's Fuel Gas Station (SPBN) AKR in Banjarmasin, Wednesday.
In 2025, AKR gas station has a fuel quota of 2,003 kiloliter to serve 103 fishing boats with the realization until March 2025 has reached 360.41 kiloliters.
He insisted that fishermen must really get subsidized fuel, do not let them go to sea without fuel stock, especially during Eid holidays.

“Go ahead, fishermen who want to go to sea, fuel stock must be ready. If it is lacking will be added, so don't worry,” said ESDM Minister.
Even though, Bahlil asked fuel supplier to add stock in Kampung Nelayan or fishermen village Banjarmasin, fishermen here acknowledged that they never complained about supply.
He also encouraged related parties to implement fuel quota mechanism that is adjusted to the fishing season according to the region.
He said during fishing season which lasts about seven months a year, the amount of fuel will be increased to anticipate increasing of fishing activities. When wave season comes, adjustments are made to maintain supply.
Bahlil said B40 diesel fuel for fishermen is provided at a price of Rp6,800 per liter. This is an effort by the government to maintain operational stability for fishermen.
“The government continue to monitor and regulate fuel distribution carefully to support people welfare in the coastal areas,” said the Minister.
