Balangan allocates Rp3 billion for early childhood education

Balangan, South Kalimantan 2/5 (AntaranewsKalsel) - Balangan District Government in its 2017 budget allocates Rp3 billion for Early Childhood Education (PAUD).

Head of Early Childhood Education and Non Formal Education of Balangan Education Agency Hakim here on Tuesday explained the grant funds allocated for learning materials and children's play, supporting activities and others.

"We hope the funds is in better use in accordance with the allocation, that the goal of improving education from the most basic level can run in tune," she said.

It is said, under the leadership of Regent H Ansharuddin and his Deputy H Syaifullah, local government is always committed to improve the education to match with their vision and mission, not least the early childhood education.

In 2016 budget Balangan began poured grant funds amounting to Rp2 billion for PAUD, and in 2017 budget it reallocate funds around Rp3 billion.
