Drug transaction in front of BNNK thwarted

Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan 24/3 (AntaranewsKalsel) - Officers of Banjarbaru National Narcotics Agency (BNNK) with police thwarted illegal drug transactions in the front the agency's office.

Eradication Section Chief of BNNK Banjarbaru AKP Abdul Mufid here on Friday said the suspect and evidence of illegal drugs seized on Thursday (23/3) night.

"The suspect identified as MER secured with evidence of drug types Zenith as many as 62 pills and Rp50 thousand cash proceeds from the sale," he said.

The arrest was originated the public report. "We received report from the public there will be a drug transaction in the area around Jalan Panglima Batur Barat in front of the pharmacy next to BNNK office," he said.

The report followed-up by BNNK members by waiting for a man with the characteristics referred to and found the suspect as if waiting for someone right in front of their office.

Officers searched the suspect, a South Loktabat, Banjarbaru, citizen and found dozens of Zenith pills .

"We submit suspect, evidence, and the cases to the investigator, because they who have the authority to process further," he said.
