As many as 2,266 students of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) from various study programs in 11 faculties had recorded national and international achievements throughout 2024.
"This is certainly not a small amount, it proves that ULM students have made many achievements," said ULM Deputy Rector for Student Affairs and Alumni Muhamad Rusmin Nuryadin in Banjarbaru, Saturday (Dec 14, 2024).

He said there were about 700 competitions participated by outstanding students, both individually and in a team or groups.
As a form of appreciation, ULM disbursed appreciation fund of up to IDR500 million for the 2,266 outstandng students.
Titled the 2024 ULM Students Achievement and Performance Award held at the ULM Banjarbaru Auditorium, Rusmin handed over the appreciation to mark the best achievements of students this year.
He expressed ULM's commitment to continue to improve students achievement.
Various form of support for the development of students achievement, including lecturers, continue to be conducted with the hope that more national and international competitions will be participated.
"Winning champion is a bonus, the important things is to have courage to appear to compete to show your best abilities," he said.
Rusmin disclosed that next year ULM will host the 2025 National Student Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur'an (MTQ).
He hopes that ULM contingent can achieve maximum achievements in addition to being successful as a good host.
