South Kalimantan's National Land Agency (BPN) carried out Inventory of Proposed Study Topics for 2025.
The activity, held both off and online, was chaired by Head of South Kalimantan BPN Abdul Azis, S.H., M.Kn at Grand Qin Hotel, Banjarbaru, Monday (Dec 2, 2024).
Head of Program and Knowledge Management at the Center for Development and Standardization of Agrarian, Spatial Planning and Land Policy at ATR Ministry/BPN Romeli Santiago, S.SiT, MH also attended.
As well as all officials of the South Kalimantan BPN, heads of land office, and supervisory officials.

It was part of implementing the functions of the Center for Development and Standardization of Agrarian, Spatial Planning and Land (ATR) Policy as regulated in Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning Minister/Head of National Land Agency Regulation No. 16 of 2020.
As effort to support evidence-based policy preparation, it aims to inventory various strategic issues that will be the basis for preparing policy recommendation in 2025.
Abdul Azis delivered the importance of strengthening legal protection for employees of ATR Ministry/BPN who work in the field and in the office.
He emphasized the need to harmonize land laws with other regulations related to land.
This step is considered crucial to ensure legal certainty and protection for land service implementers who carry out their duties as state officials.
As part of the agenda, participants also discussed challanges to policy implementation at the field, such as multiple interpretations of regulations, regulatory conflicts, and implementation inconsistencies.
The discussion was expected to produce strategic solutions that will be implemented in policies in the coming year.
