Head of Public Works, Spatial Planning, and Land Agency (DPUPRP) in Tanah Laut, South Kalimantan, Syakhril Hardianadi said as many as 1,357 residents of Kintap sub-district, received their land certificates through the complete systematic land registration (PTSL) program.
"PTSL (was conducted) in cooperation between the Tanah Laut District Government through DPUPRP with Tanah Laut Land Office," said Hardianadi here Wednesday.
The more than one thousand residents who received the land certificates were from three villages.
"The three villages are Sungai Cuka Village 657 certificates, Pandan Sari 655 certificates, and Mekar Sari 45 certificates," he said.

He expounded that the program was proof of the government's commitment to providing legal certainty over community-owned land.
“We hope there will be no more disputes or uncertainty over land rights, which often hamper the development and community empowerment process,” he pointed out.
Head of Tanah Laut Land Office Endah Nurcahaya disclosed that the issuance of the certificate was inseparable from grant assistance provided by the government of Tanah Laut District.
“The central government cannot fully finance the certificate issuance target. Thank the local government for helping to meet the target,” he said.
He reminded the residents who have received the certificates to fulfill their obligation, such as paying land and building tax (PBB) and maintaining the boundaries of their respective land.
