Rantau, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - His success in developing agricultural in Tapin District, South Kalimantan, put Regent HM Arifin Arpan in the top 10 Regional Head Model Year 2017 version of Tempo.
It made him parallel to the famous local head such as Mayor Bandung Ridwan Kamil, Surabaya Mayor Tri Risma Maharini, Banyuwangi Regent Abdullah Azwar Anas, Bantaeng Regent Nurdin Abdullah and other regional heads.
The appreciation for the Tempo top 10 regional head 2017 held at Grand Sahid Jaya Hotel in Jakarta on Friday (3/3) night. It was a form of tribute for dedication of their time, energy, and mind to build on the progress and prosperity under their leadership.
Regent Tapin said award is not what he sought as a regional head, but what desire in the heart is to create equitable growth to achieve the welfare of people he led.
"Every award is a whip for us to be more stable to build Tapin a better future," said regent each time he receives an award.
"Today we will continue to make changes to make the Ruhuy Rahayu Earth (nickname for Tapin) is better for people," he said.
But what he aspired is not an easy thing to come by, because certainly a lot of the problems continue to accompany in creating a better future.
In the night of awarding, Regent Tapin was represented by the head of Agriculture Agency Mansyariansah for the reason he was in Mecca to perform Umrah.
